Flash drives don't work with Win 3.1 So you use a floppy. When I was doing my degree (just a couple years ago), I had a couple labs where the computers were still running Win3.1. Personally, I don't think floppies can die too soon. If that succeeds (a sector by sector method of writing to the disk) then see if you can format it normally. That's why it cannot be remapped, unless G-List is emptied and defects moved to P-List.I'm aware that PC3K can move G-List defects to P-List, but not for Seagate Drives. You can use any other resource extractor compatible with Vista.
