Thanks, Oggie.
Basically my iMac, modem and router are in an upstairs room and the PS3 is in a downstairs room, connected wirelessly. Yay! The PS3 keeps telling me DLNA and network errors are occcuring, most often DLNA error 2104. A Dlna Protocol Error Has Occurred PS3 is connected wirelessly too.
A window will open... 4 Just click on "OK" and restart the program. So I'm back on my old Belkin F5D7630uk4a. Media played for 19mins until I manually stopped the playback. have a peek at these guys The computer could see the PS3.
Things were better (if certainly not flawless) a while back, using my old laptop and an older version of TVersity. Now, though, my network setup has totally changed: I've added a PC, am using a new router - and I've updated the PS3 firmware. So it has to be a firmware issue with the PS3, or possibly a software issue with the PC. You may get a DLNA error message: DLNA Protocol Error 7531. So although the errors are still occuring, at least the video continued to play, which is an improvement over what things used to be like with the Belkin. Hope Sony will rectify this problem in the next patch but in the mean time I will try to see if there's anything I can do in the PS3 settings itself.

So will give that a try too. The PS3 is connected to that via ethernet cable and thinks it has a wired connection but I still have the freedom of wireless. Occasionally I was also booted off the wireless router completely.
