Justin hi, I'm having the same issue, few affected domains including one gmail user cannot send emails to my domain, The senders are receiving the same DNS Error: DNS server returned ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. Gmail kept giving the error message "There was a problem connecting to mail.timpsonillustrations.com". For some reason Gmail was auto-populating that field with "smtp" and I was of course just leaving it that way because I presumed Gmail knew the default settings...!
