Please type your message and try again. Changing share or NTFS permissions occasionally resolves the issue but not every time, and the issue reoccurs. it took be two weeks to update all the document-to-external-file links... So, it would seem the error lies within Excel ... More about the author

I there a way to be able to save Excel files to a network drive without make the Work book shared?
