Domain Not Available Error Windows Xp


Will changing the domain of my old user do it? I am pretty good with computers and I have seen alot of errors in my time but nothing I couldnt handle like this. Now, why / how that would effect a cached machine... On the right look at DefaultDomainName and AltDefaultDomainName and make sure that they are exactly the same as the computer name (caps and all). I would check there first sounds like the PC is not grabbing a DHCP address after booting. They're tied to the domain account which doesn't exist anymore (in a way that you can log into it).
